Do you struggle to create new habits, stick to new routines and make those healthy lifestyle changes that you want to?
It's all too common to go around in a cycle trying to start and ending up back where you are, to look for the next quick fix. In this blog I'm going to cover three reasons why this can happen to people, and briefly how to overcome them.

In this blog I'm going to share with you how you can calm your mind and your body in just a few seconds. In the first part of looking at our breathing, I talked about three of the reasons to focus on your breathing (Read more here). In that I covered getting more relaxed, being able to manage your pain and also to be able to have greater focus and concentration.
Do you struggle to create habits and stick to the changes that you want in your life?
In this blog we're going to cover three common reasons why many people struggle to stick to their plans and their lifestyle changes We can go forty days without food, three days without water and yet only minutes without oxygen.
In this simple steps blog, I'm going to go through some reasons to be more focused on your breathing, and how we can calm your mind and body really simply and quickly. This week's Thursday's thought is thinking about success versus fulfilment, I've copied down some definitions here of the two, so I'm just going to share them.
Success The accomplishment of an aim or a purpose. Fulfilment 1. The act of doing something that you have promised or intended to do. 2. A feeling of happiness because you are doing what you intended to do in life. In this simple steps blog this is the second part of my series on journaling (read part one here).
In our busy lives it can be so easy to rush from one thing to the next or the other, and never actually take time to sit and reflect, take stock of what's going on with our thoughts and emotions. Keeping a diary or journaling about your day is a really good way to just give yourself that space and let it come out. In this simple steps blog I’m looking at the topic of journaling.
Now the idea of keeping a diary is something that's been quite traditional for many decades. But it's taken a new light more recently I feel on what journaling is and the benefits of it. In this week's Thursday's Thought I'm covering the topic of why within our business at Pura Vida Living we take a holistic approach.
It's something that often comes up in conversation when I'm talking about the work I do, and very much with my clients they might come with one particular idea or concern that we take a holistic approach. And I want to just explain why that is. This is the part 2 of a simple steps blog on reducing your screen time (read the first part here). If that's something that resonates with you then this blog I'm going to go through just a few ways that you could get started.
There's lots of benefits to the technology that we have these days, but they can also really keep us in a state of not being present and not being aware of ourselves. And actually being a slave to other people and when they want us, that we respond rather than we us being in control of how we spend our day and our time. So welcome to another week's Thursday's thought and this week I'm thinking about the idea of clarity.
Often my clients come to me saying they don't feel clear, they just don't know where to start, there's too many things going on; |
